Our Legacy: Henry Diehl’s Groundbreaking Research on Cetylated Fatty Acids
BPI’s foundation is built on the pioneering work of Harry W. Diehl, Ph.D., the chemist who discovered cetyl myristoleate (CMO) in the 1960s.
Through meticulous research, Diehl isolated cetyl myristoleate (CMO) as a key ingredient for reducing inflammation. His work introduced CMO to the world and laid the groundwork for an ingredient that would later transform the joint health market through the benefits of CMO supplements.
Diehl’s dedication to scientific rigor and quality is deeply embedded in BPI’s DNA. Since the company’s founding in 2000, we have carried forward his legacy by producing CMO that meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. Every batch we produce is backed by the same commitment to research, ensuring that our customers receive the best, scientifically validated ingredients available.
From Diehl’s groundbreaking discovery of the benefits of cetyl myristoleate (CMO) to today’s continued innovation, BPI remains at the forefront of the CMO market. We are trusted by businesses across the health and wellness industry as a CMO ingredient supplier for joint health products.
